Sew Fancy is not your typical sewing retreat. It’s a carefully curated, upscale event where you can immerse yourself in the art of sewing while enjoying a sophisticated environment tailored to inspire. Whether you’re perfecting your skills or exploring new techniques, this retreat offers a unique blend of hands-on instruction, expert guidance by three fabulous instructors, and plenty of time to work on personal projects.

Getting to Hotel Clio
If you’re flying, you should plan to fly into Denver International Airport. The Denver International Airport (DEN) is 23 miles southwest of Hotel Clio. The hotel does not provide shuttle service and the estimated taxi fare is $100 from DEN. Centennial Airport (APA) is 13 miles southeast. If driving, follow Airport exit signs to Pena Boulevard. Follow Pena Boulevard for approximately 10 miles to I-70 West. Merge onto I-70 West for 6.9 miles. Take Colorado Boulevard Exit #276B. Turn left at the stop light onto Colorado Boulevard. Follow Colorado Boulevard for 4 miles to 1st Avenue. Turn right on 1st Avenue. Stay on 1st Avenue when approaching the mall. Turn right onto Clayton Lane. Hotel Clio is on the right.

What to Expect at Sew Fancy Retreats and What's Included
Our retreat will start on Wednesday, Sept 30, with setup happening all day. We will enjoy a welcome reception at 6pm with appetizers, drinks, and a trunk show from one of our instructors. You are welcome to sew each night until 11pm at your own individual sewing table. Our pop-up shop will open Wednesday, as well, after the lecture.
You will also receive a newly released book from one of the instructors, and have the opportunity to get it signed! You'll also receive a grid wall to utilize for this instructor's workshop.
Classes from our renowned instructors will begin Thursday running through Saturday, from 9:30am - 4:30pm daily. You’ll have an amazing catered lunch in the hotel each day, and finish up the day with the opportunity to get out, stretch your legs and meet your friends for dinner at one of many wonderful restaurants in the area. We highly recommend reservations in advance!
Check-in anytime after 12pm and you can begin setting up your workspace.

Retreat pricing does not include lodging, kits or materials, or meals except lunches as noted above.
Sewing Machine rentals are NOT included and are limited. We will send out a reservation form on May 1st, 2026 at 6pm MST. Please make sure you mark your calendars; machines are available on a first-come, first serve basis and the fee is $65 to rent one.

2 - First payment of $325 due at time of enrollment. Five monthly payments of $325 due thereafter.
3 - First payment of $750 due at time of enrollment. Three monthly payments of $400 due thereafter.
